To the discussion of government is represented "The strategy of Armenological development of 2011-2025". In the document it is clearly listed those ways with the help of which Armenology must develop till 2025 according to the opinion of the specialists of Armenological committee created with the supremacy of YSU.

YSU rector Aram Simonyan highlights that the process of Armenological development of course hasn’t stopped: Armenologists continue to work, but there are certain problems in the sense of quality and priority.

This or that question in the sphere of Armenology must be viewed on the background of world processes. It will be dangerous to be restricted to only national frames. We must be able to make generalizations in the sphere of armenology, make results, which will have value in the level of civilization. Our studies must have such theoretical and practical content, that will be comparable with the works of the same kind e.g. in France, Russia.

"Based on national we must be integrated in the flow of the world",-says YSU rector Aram Simonyan- the member of the committee of the concept of developing armenology.

YSU rector mentions, that we don’t have opportunity to do more serious source researches, to work in foreign archives and libraries.   In his opinion besides financial problems there is also a problem of desire and of language proficiency. Aram Simonyan highlights that we must make steps to create a favorable world opinion for us from the point of view of armenology. He is especially concerned with the problem of representing Armenia totally in internet.

"We must represent our viewpoint, the results of researches, our problems to the world through internet. It is a sphere, which needs high professionalism. It is not a secret that propaganda war is being carried against us. In response we must attack them firstly",- confirms YSU rector.

In order to fill these gaps a new committee has been formed by the prime minister, the strategy of which has already been represented to the government discussion.

"The first package, which was represented, was not sufficient, although it contained quite valuable observations. For that reason a new committee was formed, which started his job at the end of December", - mentions Aram Simonyan.
