The increase of armenological reliable information on the Internet.

<<Any issue, as well as its interpretation connected with Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can be found on the Internet nowadays. In many cases the users try to find key-words on the history of formation of the conflict and on the current events. And here scientific and scientific-popular materials on this issue can be easily found>>,-mentioned Academic secretary of YSU Institute for Armenian Studies, head of the department of Virtual Armenology and Information, Candidate of History Mher Hovhannisyan during press-conference in <<Yelaket>> press club. According to M. Hovhannisyan there are various <<scientific>> materials both in English and Russian, which are represented by Azerbaijanis. In these materials they try to emphasize once more that <<the Armenians are agressors, Nagorno Karabakh is their historical territory>>, etc.

M. Hovhannisyan mentioned that such materials in many cases aren't reliable and are controversial.  He said that nowadays many documents, memoires, as well as research-works on this issue are being scanned in Armenia. The users can find such materials on the official web-sites of such institutions, as YSU Institute for Armenian Studies, Institute of History NAS RA, Matenadaran, National library of Armenia, National Archives, etc. M. Hovhannisyan mentioned that the department of Virtual Armenology and Information has monitored the corresponding web-resources for four years. According to this monitoring,  annualy 4-5 Azerbaijani web-sites are closed.  He also emphasized that nowadays there a lot of Armenian scientific literature on Karabakh conflict on the Internet. The role of the Daispora in the contribution to this process is worth appreciating too.
