On October 17-19 Second International Congress on Armenian Studies «Armenian Studies and the Challenges of Modern Times» will be held in National Academy Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (See the Program). Armenologists from different countries will take part in this three-day congress. Armenologists from Italy, France, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, USA, Lebanon, as well as from Nagorno Karabakh Republic will deliver their reports on Armenian history, archeology and ethnography, linguistics, literature, art and architecture, Armenian Genocide, Armenian Identity, philosophy, socio-political thought, Armenian church. On the second day of the congress reports will be delivered on the problems of Armenian identity under the chairmanship of the deputy director of YSU Institute for Armenian Studies Mher Hovhannisyan.
