The Deputy Director of the Institute for Armenian Studies of YSU Mher Hovhannisyan and the head of the Department of the Armenian-Ottoman Relations Lusine Sahakyan visited Rostov-on-Don by the invitation of the Armenian community “Nor Nakhichevan”. They participated in the events dedicated to the memory of victims of the Armenian Genocide (on April 20-26) and delivered the lectures on “The Armenian Genocide  reflections on the Internet” and  “The Policy of Islamization and Turkization in the Ottoman Empire and Republican Turkey” . The films “My home is here…” that represents the 90-year history of Yerevan State University and documentary “Hamshen in the crossroads of Past and Present” will be shown in the frame of the program.
