On March 18, 2015 a conference on “Teaching of the Armenian Language and Armenian Studies Research in the Universities of Russian Federation” (the author of the program is Busrastan Zulumyan) took place in Moscow by the initiative of Russia and Scientific Council of the Diocese of Nor Nakhijevan....

 On March 11-13 a symposium on “The role and significance of the Kurdish factor in the territorial and regional geopolicy” took place in the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Expert scientists from the Institute of World Economy and International Relations, Institute of the U.S.A. and Canada, Institute of Oriental Studies, some officials from Russian Federation and Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government representing the Security Council of Russian Federation, Ministry of  Foreign Affairs of RF, Kurdistan Democratic Party, Kurdistan Regional Government,  as well as representatives from Armenia, Kazakhstan, from various countries of  CIS and from the Kurdish community of Moscow were present during the symposium....

On March 13, 2015 a press conference dedicated to the representation of the events on the 100th Centennial of the Armenian Genocide organized by Yerevan State University took place in the discussion hall of the Institute for Armenian Studies....

On February 24, on the eve of the 150th anniversary of Commander Andranik, academic session on “The eternal life and activities of the Armenian Commander” took place, which was organized by YSU faculty of History.  First deputy mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan, YSU vice-rector Ruben Markosyan, Head of the Institute of History NAS RA Ashot Melkonyan, faculty deans, lecturers, students of YSU were present at the session....

A scientific session on “The Eternal Life and Activity of the Armenian Commander” dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Commander Andranik will take place on February 24, 2015, at 2 pm in the Hall of YSU Faculty of History (Abovyan 52)....

By the decision of the State Commission on Coordination of the events for the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide the official website armeniangenocide100.org was created....

The 5th session of the State Commission on Coordination of the events for the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide took place on January 29, 2015. The session was held by RA president Serzh Sargsyan. After the session RA president Serzh Sargsyan in company with the commission members and the participants of the enlarged session, visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, laid a wreath at the Memorial to the Victims of the Armenian Genicde  and paid tribute to the memories of the innocent victims....
