Today, the second meeting-discussion with the new editorial of English (en.hayazg.info) and Armenian (am.hayazg.info) versions of the online Encyclopedia “Hayazg” took place at YSU Institute for Armenian Studies. On March 3, 2017, the report session on the scientific activities of the Institute for Armenian Studies took place at Yerevan State University. The session was headed by YSU Rector, Aram Simonyan and was attended by the deputy director of IAS, heads of the departments and laboratories....

Within the research framework of the Laboratory of Armenian Historical Geography and Cartography after Babken Harutyunyan of YSU Institute for Armenian Studies, the English-language “Atlas of the Armenian Genocide” is ready for publication, upon the final discussion and approval of the directory of the institute. We should note that the composition of the maps had begun when B. Harutyunyan was still alive. After he passed away, the coworkers of the laboratory initiated to bring the atlas into its finalized form, ready to be published....

The Institute for Armenian Studies of YSU continues its educational programs aimed at preservation of the Armenian identity in the Diaspora. One of the most important programs, the distance learning program crosses new borders apart from Lebanon, Canada, Russia....
