On October 10, Honorary Doctoriate Degree of Saint Petersburg State University was given to YSU Rector, Head of Institute for Armenian Studies,  Doctor of History, Professor, NAS RA Associate member Aram Simonyan. Saint Petersburg State University is one of the Russian partner Universities of Yerevan State University. IAS congratulate A. Simonyan and wishes him further fruitful activity.
